Gwindel – Cavradi Gorge, Sedrun, Tujetsch, Grisons, Switzerland
 
The Cavradi gorge is world-famous for rock crystals and hematite of a special quality, but smoky quartz and, even more rarely, gwindel come from this site very rarely. This is one of the few smoky quartz Gwindels in champagne-colored gemstone quality. It shows distinct triangular areas and perfect clarity. The sharp-edged crystal appears like a gem. Unique alpine collectible.
