Titanite (Sphene) with skeleton Adularia - Narèt area, Val Sambuco, Ticino, Switzerland
 
Clear greenish-yellow Titanite crystals of 4-8 mm length, with small Epidote crystals and Pericline on albitized amphibolite. In addition, the specimen carries quite a few ivory-coloured, skeletally corroded Adularia rhombohedrons up to 1 cm in size. A pretty and mineralogically interesting floater specimen! Found in August 2018 at P. 2536, Poncione dei Laghetti, ex collection Stefan Weiß
