Cligga Mine, Perranporth, Cornwall, UK

Granular yellow-brown Varlamoffite with Quartz inclusions. Very good specimen of this rare tin hydroxide, which has replaced here centimetre-thick stringers of tin sulphide („Zinnkies“). A classic secondary mineral from the Cliff lode in the northern part of the Cligga Mine, the richest and best Varlamoffite locality in Cornwall (cf. extraLapis No.57, 2019, p. 21).
